Your Chapter Starts Here

01 · Get Oriented
Begin with New Chapter Leaders: Start Here, choose your undergraduate or medical-school pathway, and contact the National Team early to discuss your chapter.

02 · Build Your Team
Recruit at least two student leaders and two faculty sponsors. Follow your pathway’s launch guide for the wider chapter group and institutional requirements, and submit your proposed inaugural team to the National Team for approval.

03 · Watch the Masterclass
Watch the HippSoc Masterclass as a leadership team. Facilitators must complete it before leading a discussion.

04 · Plan Your First Gathering
Set a semester rhythm and use the facilitation and symposia guides to prepare discussions and events.

For new and returning leaders: keep the planning guides, Society resources, and branding materials close as your chapter grows.

The Chapter Speaker Directory is a separate approval-required resource. Chapter leaders may request access; others may apply for an exemption. Speaker profiles and downloads are kept within that restricted course.
